March 2025 – India has once again solidified its position as a culinary powerhouse, with four of its beloved breads securing top spots in the Top 10 Best Breads ranking by TasteAtlas. The latest ranking, released this March, features Butter Garlic Naan, Amritsari Kulcha, Parotta, and Naan (collectively) among the best breads in the world.
Topping the Indian entries, Butter Garlic Naan and Amritsari Kulcha both received a stellar 4.7 rating, making them some of the most celebrated flatbreads globally. Known for their rich flavors, these Indian delights have won over food lovers worldwide with their irresistible texture and taste.
Meanwhile, Parotta—a flaky, layered bread loved across South India—secured a solid 4.6 rating, reflecting its widespread popularity. Additionally, the classic Naan also made it to the list with a 4.5 rating, showcasing the enduring appeal of Indian bread varieties.
This achievement reaffirms India's deep-rooted culinary traditions and the global love for its diverse, flavor-packed breads. From street-side dhabas to fine-dining restaurants, these Indian delicacies continue to be a staple for food lovers across the world.
With such high rankings, one thing is clear: when it comes to bread, India continues to set the gold standard!
