Prayers for Karnataka regiment on Kargil Vijay diwas at Rameshwara temple Narasamangala Chamarajanagar

On Kargil Vijay Diwas, Rudra chanting was performed at the thousand-year-old Rameshwara Temple in Narasamangala by hundreds of people from Bengaluru, Mysuru, and Chamarajanagar. Devotees prayed for the longevity of Indian soldiers and the establishment of the Karnataka Regiment.

The program was jointly organized by One India Strong India and Abhyudaya, organizations that have been working alongside the Indian Army for over a decade in border areas to support the education of underprivileged children.

Abhyudaya is commemorating Kargil Vijay Diwas across Karnataka at all its 200 Kalika Kendras. On this occasion, students from local government schools were provided with school bags and books.

Volunteers from One India Strong India and Abhyudaya, along with local villagers, government school staff, and personnel from the Archaeological Survey of India, participated in the event.

One India Strong India has been at the forefront of the movement to establish a Karnataka Regiment in Chamarajanagar for the past three years. As part of the Mission Karnataka Regiment, the group has been organizing several public programs, signature campaigns, leadership engagements, and awareness sessions to garner public and governmental support.
